How Do You Submit The Game
Hi!
The submission post will go up on midday, Sunday, GMT. It will be visible on the front page of udellgames.com, as well as from the TAG page on udellgames.
You will then have until midday Monday to submit. In order to submit you must upload your game somewhere (gamejolt.com, indiedb (though you’ll have some wait time while they approve it) or even dropbox are good options) and comment on the submissions page with a link to your game.
You can resubmit your game as many times as you like up until midday on Monday, but bear in mind if you submit on Monday you must not have made any major changes after the jam deadline of midnight on Sunday.
Anything else I can help you with?
Enjoyed the last TAG, and I’m going to submit another solo project to this one as well (time willing). I hope I can flesh out something a touch bigger this time, although I love the themes!
Flying solo, don’t shoot me down pls
Me and my bro participated in the last one, but we can’t participate this month D: I’m interested in how this one will go. See you next TAG!
We’re in!
Ready for TAG two: Fight!
I’m super pumped for this Jam, its gonna be awesome!
I’m up for this! I’m Jordan Bird (LevelUpJordan everywhere on the internets). As for my gamedev history…well….I don’t really have one.
Good luck everyone!
Don’t sell yourself short, you’ve got It’s Nothing Personal!
Hi, I’m Nick Udell, owner of UdellGames.com and host of #TAG 2. I’ll definitely be entering (even though I can’t win :p).
See you all at the finish line!
I should also add that the purpose of the main rules page is more importantly to maintain the legitimacy of the Jam, by keeping a page with the “Official Core Rules”, a list of the previous jams and an explicit mention of the “Official” TAG Host. Otherwise anyone could just host the jam without being tagged and draw away valuable attention from the deserving host!
I actually set up a page like this on my site so that people wouldn’t need to rewrite all the rules all the time! (And so that I can keep a massive archive of where all the previous TAGs have been and links to all their submission pages, without drawing traffic away from the current host since the themes and specifics arent stored there) Feel free to link to it instead:

Ah, ok! That’s a good idea, I’ll do that!
I don’t mean to rush you, but since we’re still in the early days of the jam its really important for me to establish the validity of the jams and such by using this rules-page method as authentication, and I really want TAG to succeed and become something awesome! Could you take this page down and link here instead?
http://www.ticktakashi.com/p/tag-arbitrary-gamejam.html
I know its a pain to do but it’ll be easier to do sooner rather than later, the first couple TAGs need to set the example for the rest of them, and it really needs to be done to ensure that TAG gets big and goes somewhere.
Hi Charles, sorry I thought I’d done it, but wordpress never published the change! Should be up now, could you check to make sure it’s definitely visible?
Thanks!
Its all good now 😀 Thanks dude!
Wait, scratch that, the link is to the wrong place, it should link here instead:
